Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow

Anthony J.D'Angelo

We believe the early years are a time for children to just be. "It is about the present and children knowing themselves, building and maintaining relationships with others, engaging with life’s joys and complexities, and meeting challenges in everyday life. The early childhood years are not solely preparation for the future but also about the present." (Early Years Learning Framework)

Relationships are at the core of our everyday practice. We believe building secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships and working in partnership with families will allow the best possible outcomes for each child. We are responsive to children’s needs and scaffold on their learning and development by providing an intentional program and enriching environment.

We are strong advocates for children’s rights and see all children as unique individuals. We value inclusion and believe all children have the right to feel a strong sense of belonging.

We take a holistic approach in our teaching so that each child has the best start and smooth transition from home to preschool and from preschool to primary school. We incorporate early childhood theories, current research and best practice into our approach to make sure we stay relevant, informed and reflective.

We believe children should have the freedom to work at their own pace and enjoy themselves. Our centre is a place where children and families feel ‘at home’ and respected through collaboration, reflective practices and quality improvement.

Our diverse program enables children to work towards the outcomes of the Early Years Learning Framework, to challenge themselves and to build a sense of self, through:
